Generally protection and security of any data of our clients is important to us. We are conducting our business only in compliance with applicable laws on data privacy protection and data security. This applies also, but not exclusively, to the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) as has come into force on 25.05.2018.
Our website can be accessed by any clients without having to provide private data. Through our Web sites, or by clients using our Web site, we will not collect any personal data about clients (such as company name, personal name, address details, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses or any other contact details), unless our client provides us with such details on a voluntary basis. In case that we have received any such details of our clients, we undertake to keep such data strictly for our knowledge and we will not release such data to any other party, especially not to sell or otherwise market our clients personal data to third parties. For certain extra services, for which clients can apply and for which extra agreements need to be made, we may ask for certain client data as are required for us to provide the service. Such data will be stored by us as long as we provide the service in question.
Neither we nor our provider make use of any web analysis services, such as Google Analytics.
We will not store any cookies in case of our clients visiting our web site. In case of clients accessing our Web sites, the provider may automatically collect certain non-personal data (such as URL - protocol, hostname, path and parameters). However, this will not identify any specific person. In any case, it will not be shared by us with any other third party that might be able to identify a specific person. Unless, of course, in cases where may be forced to investigate possible cases of illegal use of our website.
Clients are entitled to be informed, what type of private information we have on storage from them. Clients are always entitled to have any of their private information deleted from our database. In such case, a client may send us a short e-mail message to privacy@ferntree-consulting.de asking us for the deletion.
